The study followed 33 women from their third trimester through six weeks postpartum, using validated tools like the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) and PROMIS-29 to monitor changes in mood, pain, fatigue, and quality of life.
Findings showed that chiropractic care was associated with significant improvements in pain interference and physical function, with some women also reporting reduced depression symptoms.
